Legend taste 😊
Interesting version of Dawet, a traditional Indonesian snack drink made of rice paste, coconut milk, palm sugar, and this version add selasih (Chia seed). Taste is very light compared to Dawet ala Bandung, and refreshing. Recommended for dawet afficionado.
Never miss this one!
A delightful and unique dawet with red sticky rice and basil in it
This modest traditional drink stall is a must-visit whenever you drop by this historical market. Enjoy a bowl of dawet while standing in the narrow aisle of this crowded market. If you're lucky, you can squeeze yourself on the small bench owned by MsDermi. There can be a wait when many visitors crowd just in front of the stall.
Just normal, believe me :). A small portion of dawet with a mixture of lemu porridge and sticky rice items plus thin coconut milk and basil. What makes us come years old here is the feeling of being obliged to go to Exotic Market Gede :). Just add expensive with very little portion. Well, the tastes and considerations of different people are really. Just try it :)
Nice dawet telasih. It cost 12k/portion (june 2019). Too sweet i think (the characteristic wong Solo). But there is a bitter taste in the black sticky rice.
Most crowded drink stall
Nice taste for es dawet telasih9k/portion (April '18)Small space
So good
The location is a bit difficult to find. The taste is alright
June 4 yesterday came here ... out of the ordinary... stand up 1 hour dewe try ice dawet ...... if you eat there it's faster. because it's inserted.if it packs waiting for queues of polls ...the taste is pretty good@ 10 rb
Traditional ice drink from solo, so tasty and will make us want some more everytime
Nice taste ... 1 is never enough
Smooth and silky taste of Solo dawet (iced sweet dessert containing rice flour jelly, coconut milk, white sugar syrup, and basil seeds). This is different with dawet from East Java, which use palm sugar syrup and no basil seeds. The price was IDR 10K per portion.
The most delish es dawet in Solo
Es dawet and es gempol. Es dawet here is the star !!! This city is my parents hometown, but i live in other city, everytime i go to this city, i never miss a chance to come to this place and buy this Rp 8k dessert !! Gempol also a delicious dessert but i find another place which has better es gempol.
The food is very tasty because it was freshly squeezed from coconut fruit, it feels solid, thick. Dawet has a distinctive sweet, savory, and fresh taste. Even more complete with basil granules which makes it even more delicious. But the dawet is a little more like ice basil. For the price of just 10 thousand. The location in Pasar Gede through the side door just stays straight.
Best dawet in solo! Legend
Very crowded on the weekend. Price 9k/bowl (Mei 2018)
The dawet ice is delicious, fresh, tasty. Not too sweet. It contains black sticky rice and what else. The price is 10 thousand, but the portion is quite small. The location is inside Pasar Gede, close to the traditional beverage block. If you enter from the front gate of the big market, just go straight in later to find a row of ice dawet and snacks. From the row straight ahead until you see the words Es Dawet on the right is rather narrow. If you want to enter from behind closer, from the door opposite the BCA bank.Seats are available only a little maybe only for 4 people
It's better come to this place after walk around Pasar Gede, when you feel tired and thirsty... The 'Es Dawet' will recover your energy...
It's the best traditional drink in Surakarta. If you travel to Surakarta/Solo, you must try this iconic traditional drink. The taste is so good. It usually opens around 08.00-15.00.
9k for a small bowl of dawet. Bring cash in small change as you have to wait for your change. It is not too sweet. Tip:The place is in the middle, so a faster way to find it is walk your way to the right side of the market, you will pass by Leker and Babi Kuah, keep walking and you will see a little EXIT at your left, go in and you will see the sign. You will have to stand to enjoy your dawet.
Dawet legendary era bahalak. Its distinctive dawet flavor is added with basil, cendol and sticky rice. A serving of dawet is quite expensive compared to dawet of the same type in general. But the taste of dawet is still better here. Therefore, even if you buy it, you have to go to the big market just to want to eat dawet, no problem Even those who came from outside the city to take home packs for souvenirs.
One of the culinary icons disolo.-Location: inside the big market precisely on the north side of the market.-service: the service is fairly fast, the seller's mother is assisted by 2 assistants in serving the buyer.-price: as of November 2019 the price is 10K. (Relatively more expensive than other dawets)- Taste: The taste tends to be sweet, the taste of coconut milk really feels, inside there are marinated porridge and black sticky rice.- if you come here on weekends or holidays, be patient because there is definitely a lot of queues. And because the location of seating is very limited, it is not uncommon to enjoy this dawet while standing.
traditional market with the legendary food “ es dawet telasih bu darmi”
good taste, but a tad bit pricey.
The best es dawet in town
Nice location, tasty food for your break
mahal bet dahh, ga worth
Gooooddd
Traditional ice in pasar gede. You muat try. Nice
Really tasty for day time snacks. Located in between stalls and narrow aisle. Have to stand up while savoring the goodness dawet
yummi and refreshing especially during hot summer day. Enjoy anyway the crowdedness and very narrow space.
Good traditional drink in Solo.
It is a small stall in the middle of traditional market. Very crowded, mostly visited by tourists. Quite pricey, 10K for a small portion. But it has a uniquely good taste, and different from the usual "dawet" I've ever tried.
If I go to solo, I will definitely take the time to enter the big market to drink dawet, thank you, Mrs. dermi ... 1 bowl is now 10,000, but it feels great ... ok ...
Dawet is different from most yes, coming into the market there is a big green sign dawet bu dermi. Order 1 if you can get a seat, if you stand up, screw up, screw up, screw up and know it will go away, it feels really good if you are far away, you can order a lot of authenticity to be satisfied ... its contents are thick, sugar, black sticky rice, porridge, batter, and eggs. frogs ... per 10 thousand servings
Must visit when you come to Solo. Expect long queue, especially if you want to eat in. They only have two medium bench. The stall is so small but you won’t miss it with the sign. Just go straight from the main entrance, then take left turn on the second biggest alley, and walk past to the middle of the market. And smell n feel the sensation of a traditional Indonesian market.
good drink
A must try quick food in Pasar Gede.
Must try !!!Actually, at that time it happened again at the big solo market to shop for some vegetables and spices to cook until finally seeing many places to eat ice dawet, but this one was waiting in line to be really long. Out of curiosity, finally joined in line to try how it feels. The place is small and the customers also eat a lot of ice dawet while standing. Because the seller only provides one seat that can only fit 3 people. Because at that time desek2an so many who fought over seats and who stood flat eating hastily because they also eat on the street for passers-by.The price per bowl is only 10k and the bowl is small. It tastes really good and stirs with a combination of flavors that isn't just sweet but there is also a salty taste.Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo. Next if you stop by, will take a photo
This tavern is in the Solo Gedhe Market, to find it is indeed necessary to ask, because many dawet ice sellers are similar. It's really worth visiting, especially after walking down the heat of the city of Solo
Legend!!! Thirst quencer with sweet flavour
The ice is very smooth and "silky". It has a salty savory taste compared to the other dawet that I've tried. It is a MUST for every culinary traveler
Taste good. But not for the place, inside the fresh market with smelly
The location in the market is looking for the entrance near the bank, when you enter the palace, look for what you want, a lot inside. It's not that psgi and stg 3 are closed, I eat it long after the weekend is over because the place is very small. The price of 9 thousand is quite expensive for dawet size but makes sense with its taste and contents. There are dawet, sticky rice items, basil and porridge porridge with coconut milk and coconut milk soup.It feels amazing, it's very delicious, it's just that it's a very small portion for me, hehehe.
Has only small bar, which is not sufficient to serve its crowd customers
Chill with es dawet after shopping
